Healthy Soup Recipe - Tomato and Vegetable Soup:

This easy to make soup recipe is both tasty, and incredibly healthy. The ingredients are easily aquired at your local store, and the soup can easily be stored in your fridge for subsequent meals.




Here is a list of the ingredients you will need:

1x Large bowl of mixed veg (We used carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower, but any vegetables will do)

1x Small bowl of lentils

1x Tin of chopped tomatos

3 Pints of water

2tbsp mixed spices (we used Garram Massalla and Cumin)

0.5 Pints of Milk

Black Pepper (sprinkling)

Step by step recipe:

First of all we need to chop and prepare our vegetables:

We also need to start boiling our lentils in the water:

After boiling the lentils for 5 minutes, we need to add the vegetables to the water, and boil everything for 30 minutes:

Whilst boiling the vegetables, we will add the Salt, mixed spices and blackpepper:

After boiling for 30 minutes, we need to blend the vegetables. The longer you blend, the smoother the soup will be:

We then add the milk, and tinned tomatos:

You have now finished creating your delicious tomato and vegetable soup. Enjoy a bowl with some whole grain toast, and put the rest in the fridge for later!
